Donald Leathery
​1937 - 2010

The Leathery Company was founded in 1972 by one of Ohio’s top commercial brokers, Don Leathery Sr.
​
Don grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Allegheny High School before attending Capital University on a church and baseball scholarship.

After graduating from Capital, Don started his Real Estate career in Central Ohio, working for W. Lyman Case & Company.

​13 years later, Don founded the Leathery Co. where he developed shopping centers in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.

​Don was able to work with his son, Don Leathery Jr., for several years before he passed away in 2010.

Don Leathery Jr. grew up in Westerville, Ohio and attended Columbus Academy.

He then went on to study Economics at Denison University.

After a few years at The Galbreath Company, Don joined the Leathery Co. as a Property Management Specialist.

Working alongside his father, Don eventually became Partner.

Don has continued to uphold the standards of the Leathery Company for many years with his diligent work ethic and attention to detail.

​Don enjoys watching his favorite sports teams (Ohio State, Pittsburgh Steelers, Columbus Blue Jackets) and attending concerts in his free time.

Tim Leathery

Tim Leathery grew up in Gahanna, Ohio and attended Columbus Academy.

Tim studied Marketing at Auburn University.

Tim worked for NAI Ohio Equities out of college as a Researcher.

He also spent a year teaching English in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Tim joined the Leathery Co. recently in 2026, working as an Asset Manager.

​In his free time, Tim enjoys watching his favorite sports teams (Ohio State, Pittsburgh Steelers, Columbus Blue Jackets), hiking, and traveling.
